Party tips and reminders:
(all these documents are available in our google doc's email us if you want access to it)
-Have Change!
-Don't forget a price sheet
-Have "Book a Party" slips so that if someone is interested in having a party you have a way to get their information. If they walk away and you don't have their info... you just lost that party.
-Bring a happy smile and a positive energy!
-Shopping baskets (It's easter time... now is the PERFECT time for finding cute baskets - preferably ones that won't snag the jewelry)
-Business Cards! Give them a way to contact you!
-Have a good selection of jewelry! This is key! The more you have the more you sell!
-Do a drawing and have "are you interested in having a party? yes, maybe, no. Are you interested in becoming a consultant? yes, maybe, no." on them so you can learn more about your shoppers and find good leads.
-Smile, be yourself and have a GREAT time! Remember to be positive, there are no bad parties. Something good comes from every party. Show people how much fun you're having and they will want what you have.

Event Tip:
It is VITAL that you let Paparazzi corporate office know where you're having an event! You can call or e-mail them at events@paparazziaccessories.com. I received a call today from a girl I met at an event just about a year ago. She wanted to sign up, but just got busy with life. She is now in the position where she's wanting to get her business a call and was able to call corporate with my name and the event she met me at to get my phone number. She's signing up on Wednesday! This teaches two things:
1. NEVER give up on your leads and
2. Make sure corporate knows where you're having an event-- no matter how big or small! :)

Booking Parties:
put 3 mardi gras necklaces (from the dollar store) around the hostesses neck and tells everyone that they can help the hostess earn $100 (or $50, $25) worth of jewelry if they book a party. All they have to do is take one of the necklaces off the hostess and put it on. The catch is, all 3 parties have to be booked and held within 30 days before the hostess gets the jewelry. Depending of course on how much Paparazzi jewelry you want to part with, this could work! When they check out, if you see they have a necklace on, you ask to set up the date with them. If they're not wearing a necklace you can always say, " oh, I see you didn't get one of the necklaces, but that's okay because we can still set up a party for you!" I'm going to try it on my next party and see what happens.

Bigger Party:
Give the hostess a reward (i.e. Free piece) if she hands out 50 printed invitations. And another free piece for every additional set of 25 she hands out.

Display Tip:
To display headbands and bows and save room on peg boards (if you're using them) get baskets from the $1 store. Just saran wrap them to keep them from falling out during travel and from getting dusty between parties :D

Bring a Shirt:
Tell the hostess to tell her friends when she invites them that they'll get an extra entry in the drawing if they bring a shirt to accessorize! (NOT the one they're wearing)

Involving Guests / Party Game:
"Does everyone have their cell phones? Ok, the first person to get a friend here gets a FREE piece! Ready set go!"
- Kelli Vaniman

Restocking:
Use clear containers to hold your restock and have it organized by color so people can see that they are full of cute stuff. Tell the hostess ahead of time that if she sees empty spots to feel free to dig in the restock and fill the spots. Also let the other guests know they are welcome to go through it and see what you have. People love to feel like they're getting something no one else has so you'll get shoppers digging through your restock like it was a treasure box.

Booking Parties:
Have a special little box that is cute and draws attention. At checkout after they've paid tell them what they get if they host a party.

For example:
"If you book a party with me you'll get 3 FREE pieces just for booking! You get to take this cute little box and put 3 pieces of jewelry in it. They're yours to keep just for putting your party on the Calendar. AND (don't stop talking at this point just keep going) At the time of your party you'll also get 2 FREE pieces of jewelry! AND (big eyes, show excitement in your voice) at your party you'll get 1 more free piece for every 10 pieces of jewelry that sell at your party!"

Have your calendar out so it's easy to pick a day.

When she books the party you hand her the little box and she takes it back to the jewelry and starts putting her free pieces in it. It's a conversation piece. People will ask her "where did you get that? what is that?" She'll tell them that she is picking 3 pieces of FREE jewelry because she's going to have a party. Then other girls will get excited and want to come book a party too!

Let her take those 3 pieces home right then. They will feel obligated to keep that party date because you already gave them free pieces for having it.
